I spent them in software, as CEO, VP Growth and Head of AI, running 100-person teams with the full P&L. Along the way I trained as an ICF executive coach and a certified mindfulness teacher, and I lecture on leadership in an MBA programme.
Outside work I freedive: four minutes of holding still while your body argues with you. It is not serenity. It is the same skill as a board meeting, and it can be trained. I decide through a trained gap between trigger and reaction: mindfulness as an operating system, not a wellness habit.
